2013 Dog Wash

Thank-You for Supporting the 2013 ACTSS Spring Charity Dog Wash

The Animal Cancer Therapy Subsidization Society (ACTSS) has assisted over 235 Alberta families over the past decade. With the help of dedicated individuals like you, the Dog Wash events raise approx. $10,000 each year. The money raised from these events is used for the cancer treatments of pets in Alberta.

On behalf of all Albertans who love their pets, we warmly thank you for contributing to the 2013 Spring Dog Wash.

Specifically we’d like to thank the following businesses for donating cakes and cupcakes for many of the groomer locations:

Cheryl’s Creations (Edmonton) – Cheryl has been a supporter of ACTSS since her dog Kayla, featured in the 2013 ACTSS calendar, was subsidized a few years ago. Her way of giving back is by making and donating amazing custom cakes for the Dog Wash events! We would like to thank Cheryl for her ongoing support of ACTSS.

Fetish Cupcakes (Calgary) – Fetish Cupcakes in Calgary came on board this year and donated 6 dozen cupcakes to be used at the groomer locations in Calgary. We would like to welcome them as donors and extend a huge thank-you for their support of the 2013 Spring Dog Wash.

We’d also like to thank the many volunteers that dedicated numerous hours to this event. We could not put this event together if it was not for the many people that have contributed countless hours to pre-event organizing, poster distribution and advertising, cakes and cupcake delivery, and of course washing dogs!

Last, but certainly not least, we’d like to thank the 16 amazing groomers that came on board to support the Dog Wash! This event relies on the support of participating groomers and we are both overwhelmed and humbled by the sheer number of groomers that signed on to donated proceeds to ACTSS.
