ACTSS 10th ANNUAL Halloween Extravaganza Oct. 23, 2010
GET YOUR COSTUMES READY FOR THE ACTSS 10TH HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA!
Last year's Halloween Extravaganza included a mix of ghoulish "Clowns," "Pirates," "Draculas," "Gypsies," and many other costumes. For the fourth year in a row, we were fortunate to have Rob Hislop from City TV volunteer his time to be our Master of Ceremonies. ACTSS was excited to present last year's event at the Palace Banquet facility on Parsons Road, which will allow us the opportunity for continued growth for many years.
Attendees enjoyed a fabulous dinner and silent and live auction. Many prizes were awarded for best-dressed human and the highly anticipated pet costume contest. Among the highlights was again the Balloon Raffle which always generates a buying frenzy! This year everyone enjoyed live music during dinner, many great door prizes and had a wonderful time in the new venue.
Special thanks to the Halloween Committee and all the volunteers who donate countless hours to help make cancer treatments become a reality to all Alberta pet owners.
This year promises to be equally fun for people and their pets. We are excited for the first time to have the event on a Saturday, again the Palace Banquet facility on Parsons Road. Don't miss out on Alberta's favourite evening out with their pets! We look forward to seeing you all at this great event!
Please remember that pets need to be registered in advance and numbers of pets allowed is limited so sign up early.
The Halloween Extravaganza is ACTSS' biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go to help pets receive the cancer treatments needed to save their lives!
